Global were at the East Gallery Warehouse sale over the weekend. As you all know that these sales are mad hectic and are so much fun, but this one was most probably the best yet. Global also dropped their new range of  Mitchell & Ness snapback caps at the event which had alot of people watering at the mouth (I know I was). As you would expect from Global, masses of Xclusive sneakers were on show which is now becoming a formality at these shows.

We were accompanied by many fresh and new upcoming brands which shows that there is alot of talent out there on the fashion scene. The brands that were there were, Playdot, Benjart, PXL, Kaveman, SoapBox, Crooks&Castle, G-Shock East And of course Global it self. I think they call it #Swagg

All in all the day was very memorable, the temperature was right, the music sounded good, everyone had their swagger on a thousand trillion and thats what its all about, see you all at the next one.

Global were very kindly invited to the Odd Future concert at the Village Underground venue in Shoreditch, when we turned up we were greeted with a huge spray painted banner on the wall, with the Odd Future logo on it,  as well as an advert for group leader Tyler The Creator’s second album ‘Goblin’ which is due out on May 10.

The group had been whittled down to three members – Tyler The Creator, Hodgy Beats and Left Brain – for this rare London show and after their DJ, Syd ‘Tha Kid’ Bennett, had spent 45 minutes whipping the crowd into a frenzy with an array of beats, the trio took to the stage to a cacophony of noise.

Within two songs, all three members were stage-diving and crowd-surfing over the kind of mosh pit most metal bands would be proud of.

Tyler then risked life and limb by proceeding to dive into the crowd off the top of the PA stack and by the end of the gig, Odd Future, known for their explosive live performances, proclaimed it to be in their top three “craziest” shows ever. With chants of “Wolf Gang” reverberating around the venue, it was easy to see why Odd Future are very much THE future.

After the Concert Global checked out the rest of shoreditch, and it seems to be on a different planet all together, with such relaxed rules and so much emotion and opinion expressed in the street it really makes you feel comfortable with yourself.

All in all it was a good day out, and Global have learnt a lot more about expression, From OFWGKTA destroying the stage to some amazing street art. We have learnt that fashion is opinion, and opinion is an individual privilege.

Odd Future have a unique style of rap and a ‘I dont give a F***’ attitude which has got them noticed, and turned them into the most talked about group on the internet. As you can see their music is very explicit, but if you can see past the cursing and so on, you can see that the young rappers are just showing rebellion antics which are attracting so many such a huge following (Me included). My favorite track of the mixtape has to be Drop – Tyler, The Creator, many people have attempted that beat but the way he destroyed it is incomparable. Also keep a watch out for Hodgy, he has a unique flow and puts out some mean verses, keep a look out for these guys in the Future as 2011 will be a Odd Year. (Pardon the pun).

Today we have had the best weather of 2011, with temperatures of 23C. So I thought why not take some pictures of the beautiful area of Shepherds Bush.

The Global team had a tourist moment in their own back-garden, and as london is such a beautiful city we had to take a few pictures to represent our hometown.
