The ZX 700 first made an appearance in 1985 as a high mileage runner but quickly made an equally considerableimpact in the style stakes. Arguably one of the less technical silhouettes in the ZX family, this version takes takes the simpler silhouette and drops a striking colouway that takes this into the realm of must have acquisitions. The upper is a predominantly grey suede with the use of a matching grey mesh on the toe box and behind the 3-Stripes for maximum breathability.

The traditional lacing system and ghilly system are also in matching grey while the whole upper is set off with pops of purple on the Trefoil tongue tag, heel tab and the reflective section of the toe box. Air Max 97 fans rejoice, next year Nike will be releasing a few brand new colorways of the AM97, two of them previewed here. Thanks to the folks at NT we have a look at a red/silver and a black/silver colorway, both of which are said to be part of Nike’s 2010 Spring Releases. In the catalog scans shown here both of the sneakers appear to use a tiny bit of patent leather which is something we may or may not see in the final release a year from now. 
 
Hopefully this is just a taste of whats to come next year and that there will be a few more Air Max 97 releases to go along with these two at Global!!

The innocent white demeanor of the Nintendo Wii is set to undergo an overhaul with the upcoming release of the “Kuro” version Wii. Taking on a dark, sleek look, the color is a departure from the usual cute Mario fanfare that is often associated with Nintendo. The black version will release first in Japan on August 1st, 2009.
